ABOUT

Jada Richardson was born and raised in Conyers, Georgia.

Throughout her childhood and early adulthood, she'd always been interested in art, telling her family the outrageous plans she had for her future as an artist that only a child could think of.

It was in 2021 that she committed to attending Agnes Scott College and becoming a member of the college's class of 2025.

She initially entered with the idea of pursuing creative writing and computer science to create her own sort of communications degree. There is one thing that she always knew; and that was that she wanted to create things.

At the end of her Sophomore year, she declared herself an Art major, and it felt like something that was always supposed to be there. It's something small, but it would change the way she would make small-talk with acquaintances and distant family, as well as how she thought about school and her personal goals.

To be in an environment such as the one that Agnes provides has changed Jada in so many ways; to be more assertive with her wishes, with her interests, to put herself out there and put everything into the assignments that she does; to apply for even the most outrageous opportunities, simple because they're there and they're available to her.

Now, as a Junior in her second semester, she's compiled a long list of awards and achievements, with hope of pursuing more outrageous opportunities post-grad.
